Il Genio Dalì
1 March – 31 August 2018
Historian Gallery presents the exhibition “Il Genio di Dalì” a unique and exciting journey to rediscover the Holy Bible and the Divina Commedia; a surreal and evocative labyrinth among the pillars of our culture, revisited by the fantasy and immense creativity of Salvador Dali.
Through 205 original lithographs and xylolgraphys of Salvador Dalì, the Biblia Sacra and Dante’s masterpiece are exhibited for the first time combined.
The sophisticated serilitography techniques of the 1960s, enriched by the innovative application of metallic inks and varnishes, combined with bright colors, with the artist's trait and his vision of spirituality, guarantee a combination of Sacred and Profane with a strong emotional impact.
